Trip Day 6 San Francisco

We spent all day on sightseeing in San Francisco today. Walking on steep streets made us exhausted.... この日は1日中サンフランシスコを観光。計８キロくらい歩いて足が棒になった...
The Rock (Alcatraz) is an island in the San Francisco Bay, developed as facilities for a lighthouse, a military prison, and a federal prison until 1963. アルカトラズ島はサンフランシスコ湾にある島で、1963年まで連邦刑務所として使われていた場所。
We had a crab chowder and robster pasta at the Crab House in Pier 39. ピア３９にあるクラブ（蟹）ハウスで昼食。写真はクラブチャウダーとロブスターパスタ。

Trip Day 5 northern California

We finally got to San Francisco this evening. On the way, we saw a beautiful scenery of Mt. Shasta in northern California and stopped by University of California, Berkeley. この日はサンフランシスコまでひたすら南下。途中カリフォルニア北部にあるシャスタ山が富士山みたいで綺麗だった。夕方には世界ランク5に入るカリフォルニア大学バークレー立ち寄った。勉強が好きそうな人ばっかりで、日曜日なのにキャンパス内には多くの学生がいた。
