Yosemite National Park, one of the major destinations of our trip, is recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, Giant Sequoia groves, and biological diversity. The park is located the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain and 200 miles away from San Francisco. We made one day trip from San Francisco by 4 hour driving for one way.
この日は旅のメイン目的地の一つでもあるヨセミテ国立公園に日帰りで観光。サンフランシスコから約320キロ離れてて、片道車で４時間かかるんだけど、色んな景色があって往復８時間のドライブはあっという間だった。ヨセミテ園内には5〜6時間もいれて、いい景色も見れたし、紅葉も綺麗だったし、動物も見れたしなかなか良かった。心残りは熊が見れなかった事....

While walking on a trail, we saw Mule deer トレイルを歩いてたらミュールジカに遭遇。

On a way to Glacier Point, we encountered with a coyote. He seemed to want to get fed from us. コヨーテに遭遇。車を止めたら、近寄ってきて食べ物を欲しがってた。
After another 1 hour drive, we finally got to Glacier Point, where the elevation is 7200ft and you can look over the valley and Half Dome. 更に1時間山道ドライブのあと、ようやくグレイシャー・ポイントに到着。ここはヨセミテ渓谷とハーフドームを一望できる絶景スポット
