surfing & running サーフィン＆ランニング

I went surfing at baby haleiwa in Ala Moana beach park few days ago. It was sunrise session and I spent more than 2 hours to ride on some fun waves.

数日前にいったウニ地獄での日の出セッション。波がよく、人もいなかったのでかなり楽しめた。
A foot depth. you dont want to fall in this part. 干潮ぎみで50センチ位の深さ。けどそのおかげで、バリバリ波がはってくれる。

I started running for my health. I use an iPhone application that tracks your running route and calculates time and speed.
面接で「ハワイではサーフィンやランニングを日課として行っています。」と言ってしまったので、噓にならないように、そしてダイエットのためにも本格的にランニングをはじめたw　iPhoneの走ったコースを追跡してくれるアプリを使ってみた。走るスピードや標高までGPSで記録してくれる優れものだけど、バグがあり過ぎであまり使い物にならない。

Japan#1 世界一

Japan defeated the United States 3-1 in a penalty shootout after the matched game 2-2 at the end of extra-time this morning! It is crowned womens' world champions for the first time in the history.何となく勝つだろうとは思っていたら本当に優勝したなでしこジャパン。歴史的な勝利にハワイも世界もトップニュース。Youtubeでハイライトしか見ていないけど、一点取られては追いついて、そして延長戦でまたリードされては追いついてすごい粘り強さ。祝優勝！

By the way, typhoon Ma-on, a category 4 typhoon, is approaching southern coast of Japan with estimated landfall over Honshu as a Category 3 storm in Tuesday morning. カテゴリー４台風マーゴンが日本に接近中。九州四国に上陸しだい勢力は３まで弱まるけど、東に向きをかえて被災地の南東北にも影響を与えそうなので注意が必要。もちろん日本のサウスショアはほとんどクローズアウト。

「今回の帰国で被災地の一部を見て、あらためて大震災の脅威を知った。手につかない瓦礫の山々、日本全国からのボランティアの人たちを乗せたバスで渋滞する三陸道、様々な手段で節電をしている会社や家庭、見えない敵と戦う原発作業員........　1つ感じた事は、庶民１人１人が見えないところで団結して、復興に向けての大きな力が働いているってこと。国会内でもめ事ばっかりしている人たちがニュースになる度に残念な日本に見えた。けど、毎日復興に向けて一歩一歩頑張っている人がたくさんいる日本はいい国だと思った。」 ってことを、成田を離陸して霞がかった東京の夜景を見ながら思った。

Happy 1st B-Day, Halu!

It is the first birthday of my nephew today. Halu enjoyed the pool for the first time this morning because it was already near 30C. What a hot day today. 一才の誕生日に初めてのプールデビューした甥っ子のハル坊。今朝は朝から３０℃近くありプール日和だった。

Yamagata 山形

My sister's family and I went to Yamagata prefecture for surfing and sightseeing yesterday. It was such a hot day like temperature reaching about 35 degree Celsius at 10AM in Yamagata. 昨日は山形と秋田の間付近、鳥海山のふもと辺りまでサーフィンしに行ってきた。この日の山形は午前１０時でなんと35℃。暑かった〜　海パンで海に入れたような気がする。

After surfing, we had such an onolicious fish. サーフィンの後は遊佐の道の駅で焼カレイを食べた。

Chuson-ji 中尊寺

I went to Chusonji, a Buddhist temple in Hiraizumi, Iwate prefecture. The Konjiki-dō (金色堂) or 'Golden Hall' is a mausoleum containing the mummified remains of the leaders of the Northern Fujiwara clan who ruled much of northern Japan in the 12th century.
最近小笠原諸島に続いて世界遺産に登録された岩手県平泉にある中尊寺に行ってきた。 メインの仏堂である金色堂には藤原４代のミイラ化した遺体が納められているらしい（実際には見れない）金箔で覆われた仏堂は、その名の通り金色で見応えがあった。岩手に用がある人は是非立ち寄ってみるべし。左の写真は中尊寺。金色堂は撮影禁止なので写真なし。

中尊寺八幅堂　Chuson-ji Hachiman-do

中尊寺とは岩手県平泉町にある天台宗の寺社の名所。開山は9世紀半ばで、11〜12世紀ごろに藤原清衝によって造営された。中でも金色堂が著名。1124年に、藤原清衡により建立され、奥州藤原氏が造立した現存唯一の建造物。堂内外をすべれ金箔で包み、堂内部の三つの仏壇の中には、三代の遺体と、四代泰衡の首級を安置している。2011年6月に世界文化遺産に登録された。

Chuson-ji is a Buddhist temple in Hiraizumi,Iwate Prefecture, Japan, which is the head temple of the Tendai sect in Tohoku (northeastern Japan). It was founded by Fujiwara no Kiyohira in about 1100.  Chuson-ji is known for the Konjiki-do (Golden Hall) that is a mausoleum containing the mummified remains of the leaders of the Northern Fujiwara clan who ruled much of northern Japan in the 12^th century. It is one of the most beautiful and elaborately decorated buildings in the world. In June 2011, Chuson-ji was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Japanese Statue of Liberty 日本一の自由の女神w

My nephew, sister, brother, and I went to Aomori prefecture to go surfing yesterday. On our way, we stopped by the park in Momoishi, where the Japanese #1 Statue of Liberty exists. It is quarter as big as the real statue in New York City.
昨日、宮城岩手福島の海岸は入れないので青森までサーフィンにいってきた。途中、青森県のおいらせ町ももいしにある「日本一の自由の女神」を見てきた。なぜ日本一なのかは不明w　けど、大きさはNYCにある実物の４分の１もあってなかなかの迫力。百石とNYCは同じ緯度にあるみたいです。

I went to the shrine in my hometown and there was full-blown hydrangea. 地元の山の神神社でおみくじをひいてきたら大吉。境内のあじさいが綺麗だったのでブログにアップw　今日は鳴子で温泉に入り、しかも某会社からの内々定を取れたので気分のいい1日でした。
